Are you a VMware expert ready to take on complex environments across secure networks? We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-impact team responsible for managing and enhancing virtual infrastructure environments in secure government systems. You’ll be working across server and desktop environments, delivering improvements, patching, and support in high-security contexts while leading best practice implementation.

Key Duties

• Manage, design and support VMware server and desktop virtual environments across secure networks (ASN, CSN, ABF vessels)
• Lead VMware upgrades, patching, support and continuous improvement
• Install and configure VMware tools to enhance management and user experience
• Develop and maintain documentation and contribute to BAU and project activities

Key Criteria:

• Extensive hands-on experience with the full VMware suite; VMware Certification (VCP) required
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing and improving VMware infrastructure
• Strong experience in systems design, installation, and problem management (aligned to SFIA Level 4–5)
• Proven ability to mentor team members and manage multiple priorities across secure environments
