Location: Canberra, ACT (Hybrid)
- Contract Duration: Permanent, full-time
- Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline minimum and NV1 preferred
- Closing Date: Applications close ASAP – shortlisting will occur as applications are received
- Lead and contribute to network infrastructure projects across switching, routing and firewall solutions.
- Design, implement and optimise BGP routing, IPsec VPNs and secure site-to-site connectivity for high availability.
- Plan and execute network changes and upgrades, including firewall policies, wireless rollouts and modernisation programs.
- Produce and maintain documentation, diagrams and standards while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant solutions.
- Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer with strong routing and switching skills, including VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP and LAG.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco routers, Aruba switches and next-gen firewalls (Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto), plus wireless controllers and APs.
- Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting IPsec site-to-site VPNs, plus Voice/SIP and Microsoft Teams/SBC environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to work independently and continuously upskill.
