Solution Architect – Mission-Critical Defence Systems (TSPV)
Play a pivotal role in shaping complex, secure ICT solutions that support critical national security and Defence intelligence capabilities. In this hands-on leadership role you’ll own solution design end-to-end, guiding multiple delivery teams, producing high-quality architecture artefacts and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver integrated, fit-for-purpose systems in a highly secure environment.

Location: Canberra, ACT
- Contract Duration: 12 months from May 2026 with 2 × 12-month extension options
- Security Clearance Requirement: Current TSPV clearance required
- Closing Date: 10:00am Wednesday 28 January 2026
- Lead and produce solution designs, systems views and architectures that meet complex business and ISR capability requirements.
- Oversee and coordinate multiple teams to deliver solution designs and system specifications that align to user and business needs.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Defence systems and operating environments to ensure integrated, end-to-end solutions.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, managing complex design issues, risks and mitigation strategies.
- Several years’ experience as a Solution Architect (or similar) delivering solutions in complex, large-scale environments.
- Proven technical leadership skills, providing direction and guidance across multiple project teams.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical direction for projects delivering complex software solutions, including high-quality design documentation.
- Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
