Lead Cloud Engineer (AI & Secure Cloud Platforms) 

Join a high-impact team driving modern, secure, and scalable cloud solutions to support AI proofs of concept and product deployments. You’ll provide technical leadership across cloud architecture, automation, and governance—helping shape a pattern-based approach to cloud engineering in a complex enterprise environment.

Location: Australia-wide (ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS)   

• Contract Duration: 6 months (start February 2026)
• Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline (Australian Citizen required)
• Closing Date: 22 January 2026 – 10:00am (Canberra Time)

Essential Tasks:

• Lead architecture, deployment, and ongoing management of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Establish and uplift Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and reusable patterns
• Embed security and compliance aligned to Australian Government frameworks (e.g., ISM/PSPF)
• Drive automation to improve reliability, delivery speed, and operational efficiency

Key Criteria:

• Senior-level cloud engineering/architecture experience in complex environments
• Strong capability across AWS/Azure/GCP services, networking, and identity management
• Hands-on IaC and automation/orchestration tooling (CI/CD, pipelines, scripting)
• Containerisation and orchestration experience (e.g., Kubernetes) plus strong leadership skills
