DevSecOps Engineer – Secure Cloud Automation (NV1 Required) Join a high-impact delivery team where you’ll automate, secure, and support modern cloud environments. This role suits a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer with strong Windows/Linux administration experience and a passion for Infrastructure as Code, secure pipelines, and practical automation.

Location: Canberra ACT / Melbourne VIC

• Contract Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
• Security Clearance Requirement: Must hold a current NV1 clearance (or higher)
• Closing Date: 10:00am Thursday 12 February 2026

Essential Tasks 

• Design, build and implement DevSecOps services and CI/CD pipelines
• Automate ICT systems using Infrastructure as Code and scripting
• Implement security controls aligned to Australian Government security guidelines (e.g., ISM)
• Build, maintain, and support secure cloud environments and associated network services

Key Criteria

• Strong system administration across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments
• Automation/IaC capability with tools like Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (or similar) and DevOps pipeline delivery (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Proven ability to produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation (build guides/procedures)
