ICT Project Manager – Major Network Upgrade (Backfill | Start ASAP)
Step into a fast-paced ICT uplift program where you’ll drive scheduling, governance and delivery across a significant platform and network upgrade. This is an urgent backfill with an ASAP start, suited to a hands-on Project Manager who can keep stakeholders aligned, vendors coordinated, and leadership confidently briefed.
Location: Canberra, ACT (HMAS Harman or Fyshwick
Contract Duration: 18 months (possible extensions)
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1 required; ability to obtain NV2 highly regarded

Essential Tasks:
- Build and maintain the master schedule; track progress, delays, dependencies and actions
- Coordinate vendors, resourcing, and internal ICT teams to hit tight delivery timeframes
- Develop and manage governance artefacts (PMP, control registers, stakeholder plans)
- Deliver clear reporting and briefings to leadership across risks, issues and change
- 2+ years’ ICT Project Management experience in a Federal Government environment
- Advanced Microsoft Project, Excel and leadership-level reporting capability
- Advanced Visio skills to support planning, governance and documentation
- Australian citizen with NV1, and able to obtain NV2
