Essential Tasks:
- Lead the development, maintenance and enhancement of software solutions from specifications and technical designs.
- Drive software design, systems integration and build activities across complex secure environments.
- Write, test and optimise code, scripts and supporting technical documentation.
- Provide specialist technical advice and leadership to support quality, functionality and delivery outcomes.
- Strong experience in Java development, Python scripting and software engineering at senior level.
- Proven capability in software design, systems design and systems integration within complex environments.
- Experience working across Linux/UNIX environments, SQL, data manipulation and cloud-based tooling.
- Demonstrated exposure to tools and platforms such as Cloudera, Apache Airflow, Splunk, Azure, Elastic/OpenSearch and Atlassian.
