Essential Tasks:
- Provide first-level support for network-related incidents and user issues
- Monitor network performance and assist with proactive improvements, maintenance, patching, and firmware upgrades
- Contribute to network refreshes, upgrades, and project support activities as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation, network diagrams, configuration standards, and asset records
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and DNS
- Demonstrated experience supporting network operations within Defence or other high-security environments
- Strong troubleshooting, configuration, and documentation skills in secure ICT environments
- Understanding of government security frameworks such as the ISM
- Strong stakeholder engagement, customer service, and ability to manage competing priorities
