Senior Cyber Threat Analyst | SOC Operations | NV1 Clearance:
Join a high-performing cyber security operations environment supporting critical security monitoring, alert triage, threat analysis and incident response activities. This role is suited to an experienced SOC Analyst or Cyber Threat Analyst with strong SIEM capability, proven intrusion detection experience and the confidence to operate in secure, fast-paced environments.

ACT or QLD
Contract Duration: 12 months, with possible 2 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1 clearance required

Essential Tasks:
- Monitor incoming alert queues for potential security incidents.
- Perform initial investigation, analysis and triage of alerts.
- Document findings in the Incident Management platform.
- Maintain use-case playbooks, checklists and analyst SOPs.
- Strong proficiency using SIEM technologies.
- Ability to interpret log data across IAM, endpoint detection, firewalls and web proxies.
- Intrusion Detection and Analysis experience at CIISEC Level 4 or equivalent.
- Threat Intelligence, Assessment and Threat Modelling experience at CIISEC Level 4 or equivalent.
