Baseline Cleared IT Security Analyst – Long-Term Contract:
Compas is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to support operational security management across complex digital platforms and infrastructure environments. This role is ideal for a security professional with strong experience in daily security operations, access monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and compliance activities.

Location: ACT, VIC, NSW, SA or QLD
Contract Duration: 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with a possible 12-month extension
Security Clearance Requirement: Current Baseline clearance required
Closing Date: 10:00am, 20 July 2026

Essential Tasks:

• Monitor logs, triage alerts and support daily security operations.
• Investigate unauthorised access, potential breaches and security incidents.
• Perform vulnerability management, remediation and escalation activities.
• Support access reviews, audits and continuous improvement of security procedures.

Key Criteria:

• 6–7 years’ experience in IT security, security administration or related roles.
• Strong understanding of security operations, compliance and risk management.
• Experience with incident response, log monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Ability to maintain accurate security records and coordinate with stakeholders.
