Strategic Intelligence Leader | EL2 Equivalent | Baseline Clearance: Lead a high-impact intelligence function focused on provider integrity, fraud detection and non-compliance response. This senior leadership role will suit an experienced intelligence professional with strong strategic judgement, executive briefing capability and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in complex operational environments.

Location: All State Locations
Contract Duration: 12 months, with a possible 12-month extension
Security Clearance Requirement: Current Baseline clearance required
Closing Date: 10:00am, 17 July 2026

Essential Tasks:

• Lead strategic, operational and tactical intelligence activities, including intake, assessment and prioritisation.
• Oversee the production of high-quality intelligence products, briefings, link charts and reports.
• Provide leadership to intelligence managers, officers and specialists supporting integrity outcomes.
• Liaise with senior stakeholders, external agencies and cross-government partners on emerging risks and cases.

Key Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience leading an intelligence function in a complex operational, regulatory, law enforcement, integrity or national security environment.
• Strong strategic intelligence capability, including risk assessment, priority setting and executive decision support.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of intelligence governance, information handling, privacy, security and legislative obligations.
