Job Title: APS6 Senior Compliance & Investigations Officer | Regulatory
Lead complex compliance reviews and investigations within a major Australian Government regulatory environment, applying risk-based analysis to financial information, identifying non-compliance and supporting high-quality regulatory outcomes.
Location: Canberra, ACT or Melbourne, VIC

Essential Tasks:
- Conduct risk-based investigations and complex compliance reviews.
- Analyse financial, data and intelligence sources to identify risks and non-compliance.
- Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, correspondence and advice for decision-makers.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff while contributing to policy and process improvement.
- Experience supporting or leading financial audits, assurance or comparable compliance activities.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret complex information and identify issues or risks.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and deliver quality outcomes under pressure.
