Job Title: APS5 Investigations Officer | Regulatory Compliance
Support regulatory investigations in a major Australian Government environment, analysing financial information, identifying potential non-compliance and contributing to targeted compliance strategies.
Location: Canberra, ACT or Melbourne, VIC
Contract Duration: 2 November 2026 to 2 November 2027
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline

Essential Tasks:
- Gather, analyse and document information supporting regulatory investigations.
- Review documents and financial information to identify gaps, issues and compliance risks.
- Use data and intelligence tools to identify high-risk behaviours and non-compliance indicators.
- Prepare clear briefing materials, reports, correspondence and advice for decision-makers.
- Experience supporting compliance, financial audit, quality assurance or similar structured work.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and identify issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations, or willingness to undertake it, is highly desirable.
