Job Title: Systems Integration Architect | Digital Integration & C4ISR Support complex digital integration across a major Australian Government capability program. Apply your expertise in systems architecture, networking, C4ISR and system-of-systems integration to improve interoperability between emerging and legacy platforms.

Location: Symonston, ACT
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite, with work-from-home or remote arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis.
Contract Duration: 11 January 2027 – 31 December 2028, with two potential 12-month extensions.
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1 minimum (NV2 preferred).
Closing Date: 10:00am, 10 November 2026.

Essential Tasks:

• Develop and provide technical advice on digital integration requirements across complex networked systems and capabilities.
  
  
  
• Assess integration architectures, technical designs and interoperability requirements, identifying risks and recommending solutions.
  
  
  
• Produce technical implementation designs, integration documentation and formal proposals to support capability planning.
  
  
  
• Collaborate with technical specialists, project teams and senior stakeholders to support consistent digital integration approaches.
  
  
  

Key Criteria:

• Demonstrated relevant experience and/or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, IT or a related discipline.
  
  
  
• Specialist experience in one or more of networking, military C4 software, tactical data links, enterprise architecture or distributed systems.
  
  
  
• Strong understanding of systems integration, interoperability and complex system-of-systems environments.
  
  
  
• Ability to develop technical advice, assess integration solutions and engage effectively with technical and senior stakeholders.
