Wayne’s interest in recruitment can be traced back to his IT contractor days. Finding jobs for himself progressed into finding roles for his friends and then onto commencing his own company in the early 2000’s. Terry, who worked with Wayne when he first came to Canberra, convinced him to partner with Compas and later merge into a much larger entity to compete in the Canberra market. Since taking full control of the company in 2019, Terry and Wayne have built a more professional, robust organisation. Wayne and Terry are proud of their staff and the energy and enthusiasm they bring and the position our company holds within the recruitment marketplace.

Terry O’Reilly
Company Director
Terry is one of the founding directors of Compas. Having been with Compas since 1987, he has seen the organisation grow and mature into one of the top ICT Recruitment providers to the Federal Government. As a director, he is responsible for the financial reporting of the Company and helping to make sure our payroll runs smoothly. Terry has a keen interest in birds, fishing, and cryptocurrency. He breeds small grass parrots and the more exotic Gouldian Finch. Being a fulltime Dad to 4 young boys leaves little time for anything else outside of work.
