Are you a cloud expert ready to help architect secure, high-impact AWS environments for one of Australia’s leading national security organisations? Multiple long-term contract roles are available across Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will contribute to cutting-edge cloud design and delivery, including Zero Trust Architecture, CNAPP/SASE implementation, and Proof of Concept deployments. This role is ideal for those who thrive in fast-moving environments, work well with ambiguity, and value both autonomy and collaboration.

Location: Canberra, ACT | Brisbane, QLD | Melbourne, VIC | Perth, WA

Key Duties:

• Architect and implement scalable, secure AWS infrastructure aligned to business needs
• Collaborate on security controls, compliance, CNAPP/SASE tooling, and Zero Trust Architecture
• Design and test Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in pre-deployment environments
• Work closely with stakeholders and industry cloud providers to create robust solution architectures

Key Criteria:

• Experience delivering cloud infrastructure aligned to SFIA codes: AVMT, ITOP, PROG, DESN, HSIN
• Strong AWS technical skills, including architecture, scripting, and automation tooling
• Demonstrated experience applying security frameworks such as PSPF, ISM, and Essential 8
• Must hold NV1 clearance (NV2/TSPV desirable) and pass Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA)
