Job Title: EL1 Policy Leader – Veterans Wellbeing & Reform

Contract Duration: ASAP start to 30 June 2026
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline clearance required

Essential Tasks:
- Progress agreed policy objectives and projects with limited supervision
- Interpret legislation and support implementation of new legislative changes
- Analyse research/data to develop robust policy advice and recommendations
- Draft briefs, reports, correspondence and discussion papers for senior audiences
- Strong expertise in policy development and policy analysis
- Excellent written communication (briefings, submissions, executive correspondence)
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and collaborative working style
- Proven ability to work independently and show initiative
