IT Security Architect – High-Security Assurance & Accreditation (TSPV)

You’ll shape security compliance frameworks, guide project teams on secure design, and help drive formal certification, accreditation and risk outcomes across agile delivery streams—while partnering closely with technical and governance stakeholders.
Location: Canberra, ACT
- Contract Duration: 12 + 12 + 12 months (extensions available)
- Security Clearance Requirement: TSPV required (current, or held within the last 12 months)
- Define and provide guidance on security architectures and access models
- Lead security compliance activities aligned to certification & accreditation requirements
- Conduct security risk assessments for new technologies and capabilities
- Produce security documentation to support formal compliance assessments and approvals
- Strong background in information security architecture, risk and assurance (SFIA aligned)
- Demonstrated experience with Commonwealth security certification & accreditation activities
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills (negotiation, communication, influencing)
- Experience delivering security outcomes within agile/Scrum project environments
