Lead Cyber Security Specialist
Contribute to a significant government transformation program by providing strategic cyber security governance, risk and compliance (GRC) expertise. This embedded role supports a large-scale digital reform initiative and works closely with senior stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into all phases of program delivery.

This embedded role supports a large-scale digital reform initiative and works closely with senior stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into all phases of program delivery.
Location: Canberra, ACT
Key Responsibilities
- Provide GRC leadership across project delivery within a digital transformation program
- Contribute to secure solution designs, ensuring compliance with cyber policies and frameworks
- Coordinate security assurance activities including IRAP assessments and pen testing
- Develop technical and executive-level security documentation to support risk decisions
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in Cyber Security GRC within large government transformation projects
- Strong understanding of the ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight, and Zero Trust Architecture
- Excellent communication skills to influence, negotiate, and engage across technical and business teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications in Cyber Security, ICT or related fields
