Job Title: Lead Data Engineer - Cloud Analytics & DataOps Delivery
Take the lead on building and evolving a modern analytics capability across hybrid environments, combining on-premises platforms with a contemporary cloud-based analytics ecosystem. This is a strong opportunity for a senior data engineering professional who can deliver production-grade data pipelines, uplift DataOps and DevOps practices, and help enable advanced analytics and AI use cases in a secure government setting.

Contract Duration: 12 months (possible 12-month extension)

Essential Tasks:
- Design and deliver modern hybrid analytics platforms supporting advanced analytics use cases
- Build repeatable ingestion, transformation, and curation pipelines using medallion-style architecture
- Implement DataOps and DevOps practices including CI/CD, testing, release management, and infrastructure-as-code
- Establish monitoring, observability, data quality, lineage, and governance controls across data environments
- Demonstrated experience designing and building modern analytics platforms
- Strong experience implementing scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows
- Hands-on experience with cloud data engineering toolchains, including Azure and Microsoft Fabric
- Experience using distributed processing technologies such as Spark for batch or streaming solutions
