Technical Delivery Lead – Multi-Cloud Infrastructure & Assurance (NV1)
Take the lead on vendor-delivered infrastructure outcomes in a Defence environment. This is a delivery/assurance-focused technical leadership role—sitting close to vendor teams to ensure solutions are integrated cleanly, meet engineering standards, and pass security/assurance expectations across cloud platforms. You’ll bring strong technical judgement (without needing to be the hands-on engineer) and help stakeholders land outcomes under an Agile delivery model.
Must have Defence experience or deep knowledge of Defence environments, stakeholders and delivery expectations
Location: Canberra (ACT preferred) / Melbourne (VIC considered) – Hybrid

Location: Canberra (ACT preferred) / Melbourne (VIC considered) – Hybrid
- Contract Duration: ASAP start to 30 June 2026 (funded to end date) with possible extensions
- Security Clearance Requirement: Must hold NV1 (NV2 desirable)
- Closing Date: ASAP
- Lead vendor delivery and take ownership of solution outcomes aligned to the technical roadmap
- Guide cloud-agnostic infrastructure delivery (integration, virtualisation, platform uplift, DevOps ways of working)
- Drive compliance and engineering assurance, including ISM-aligned controls and security-by-design expectations
- Partner with internal stakeholders (architecture, security, operations) to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum
- Proven technical delivery leadership—able to steer vendors and make sound engineering decisions
- Strong background in infrastructure/platform delivery across hyperscalers (multi-cloud exposure ideal)
- Working knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps and Agile delivery (SAFe experience highly regarded)
- Experience operating in secure environments with formal assurance/compliance processes (e.g., ISM controls)
