Multiple Drupal Developers
Work on the design, development and maintenance of Drupal websites, applications and digital services in an Australian Government environment. Apply your Drupal, PHP and web development expertise to deliver secure, accessible digital solutions, with hybrid working arrangements and a 12-month contract offering potential extensions.
Location : QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – ACT-based candidates may be required onsite in Canberra three days per week and/or as required. Interstate candidates may be required to attend a state office or regional hub and travel to Canberra as required. Individual arrangements may be negotiated.
Contract Duration: 12 months, with possible 2 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance: Baseline

Essential Tasks
- Design, develop, configure and maintain Drupal-based websites, applications and digital services, including content types, views, workflows and permissions.
- Develop clean, scalable code and collaborate with stakeholders, UX designers and technical teams to deliver reliable digital solutions.
- Perform Drupal core and module upgrades, security patching, vulnerability remediation and application troubleshooting.
- Deliver accessible solutions compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, GovCMS and Australian Government security and digital service standards.
- Demonstrated experience developing, customising, supporting and troubleshooting Drupal websites and applications.
- Strong development skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs and version control.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with experience collaborating in Agile delivery teams.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Drupal security, secure coding practices, web application security and DevOps or CI/CD methodologies.
