About the Role As the PKI Technical Policy Writer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical policy, standards, design documentation and best practice guidance relating to enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services.
You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure PKI services align with industry frameworks, governance requirements and evolving security standards.

About the Role As the PKI Technical Policy Writer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical policy, standards, design documentation and best practice guidance relating to enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services.
You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure PKI services align with industry frameworks, governance requirements and evolving security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PKI-related policies, standards and technical documentation
- Provide expert guidance on Identity and PKI implementation
- Produce solution design documentation, architecture patterns and best practice guides
- Review and assure technical designs and implementation artefacts
- Support the implementation of PKI standards and frameworks
- Develop operational documentation and standard operating procedures
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and capability uplift across technical teams
- Extensive experience working within enterprise PKI environments
- Strong technical writing and policy development capabilities
- Deep understanding of PKI architectures, certificate management and trust frameworks
- Experience with cross-certification and interoperability between independent PKI systems
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and policy
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working in regulated, government, defence, intelligence or critical infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of Australian PKI governance frameworks
- Experience with major trust and certification programs
- Background in cyber security, identity management or secure architecture
- Long-term contract opportunity through to June 2027
