Security Incident Response Specialist – Baseline Clearance Required: Compas is seeking an experienced Security Incident Response Specialist to support the design, implementation and operation of security controls across complex information systems. This role suits a security professional with strong incident management, risk assessment and advisory experience, working across sensitive digital platforms and external integration environments.

Location: ACT, VIC, NSW, SA or QLD
Contract Duration: 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with a possible 12-month extension
Security Clearance Requirement: Current Baseline clearance required
Closing Date: 10:00am, 20 July 2026

Essential Tasks:

• Manage and investigate suspected cyber security incidents.
• Provide advice on physical, procedural and technical security controls.
• Conduct security risk, vulnerability and business impact assessments.
• Support security frameworks, standards, assurance practices and AI usage protocols.

Key Criteria:

• 3.5–5.5 years’ experience in information security or security incident response.
• Strong understanding of information security controls and compliance requirements.
• Experience with risk assessments, vulnerability assessments and incident management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders.
