Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer | Azure & AWS Architecture Compas is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to design, develop and optimise secure, scalable cloud solutions across Azure and AWS platforms. This role will suit a senior cloud engineer or cloud architect with strong hands-on experience in solution architecture, infrastructure as code, DevOps practices and modern cloud-native delivery.
Location: ACT
Contract Duration: 12 months, with up to 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1 clearance required

Essential Tasks:
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise cloud solutions across AWS and Azure.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions for migrations and modernisation programs.
- Build, deploy and optimise cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, Azure PowerShell or CloudFormation.
- Work with DevOps, Security and Development teams to enable secure cloud-native solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in solution architecture, cloud architecture or senior cloud engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience designing highly available, secure and scalable cloud architectures.
- Experience with IaC tools, Azure DevOps, Git and modern DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, including VPC/VNet, subnets, firewalls and load balancing.
