Senior Full Stack Developer – React, TypeScript & Modern UI (Contract)
Step into a senior engineering role building secure, scalable and accessible digital products in a modern full-stack environment. You’ll lead strong front-end practices (React/TypeScript), contribute to APIs and integrations, and help uplift engineering standards across delivery teams.
Location: ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, SA or TAS (Hybrid) All staff are required to attend the office a minimum 2 days per week.

- Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extensions
- Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain NV1
- Closing Date: 10:00am Friday 13 February 2026
Essential Tasks:
- Build and maintain modern, accessible front-end applications (ReactJS/TypeScript)
- Develop reusable component libraries aligned to design-system patterns
- Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs and integration layers
- Contribute to CI/CD, testing and secure coding aligned to government standards
Key Criteria:
- Extensive React + TypeScript delivery experience across complex web applications
- Strong UI engineering: accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, modern CSS frameworks
- Full-stack capability: NodeJS, REST APIs, SQL/relational design and integration practices
- Strong testing/tooling: Jest/RTL/Playwright, plus modern build tooling (e.g., Vite/Webpack)
