Join a high-performing Platform Services team with a large federal government agency, leading secure, modern identity and access services built on Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Unify Broker, Entra ID and advanced PowerShell automation. You’ll own complex HR-integrated identity workflows, uplift security posture and user experience, and mentor the team as the go-to expert for IAM in a collaborative, security-conscious environment.

Contract Duration: 6 months from 19 January 2026, with 2 × 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline clearance highly preferred (must be able to obtain)

Essential Tasks

• Maintain and manage enterprise IAM platforms including Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Unify Broker and HR system integrations.
• Troubleshoot identity and access workflows, providing expert advice and improving both security posture and user experience.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cyber security, HR and application teams to deliver secure, scalable identity services and roadmap outcomes.
• Produce high-quality documentation (changes, procedures, designs, security assessments) and actively mentor and upskill team members.

Key Criteria

• 5+ years expert-level experience with MIM, Unify Broker, advanced PowerShell scripting and Entra ID in complex environments.
• Strong strategic understanding of access governance and access control, particularly for HR-driven identity and account provisioning workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and upskill technical staff within IAM, platform or infrastructure teams.
• Desirable knowledge of cyber security tools and frameworks (ISM, Essential 8, ACSC guides), PAM tools (CyberArk, Secret Server) and Windows/AD environments.
