Senior Project Officer | Project Delivery & Governance
Support a major government reform program as a Senior Project Officer, coordinating project planning, governance, reporting, risks, dependencies and stakeholder activities to deliver agreed outcomes.
Location: Brisbane, Hobart, Wollongong, Adelaide, Melbourne and Canberra (Greenway)
Work Arrangement: Minimum 3 days per week onsite during onboarding and initial delivery phases, with hybrid arrangements considered after this period.
Contract Duration: ASAP to 30 June 2027
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline

Essential Tasks
- Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies and action registers.
- Coordinate governance inputs, status reporting, project documentation and meetings.
- Draft briefs, business cases, decision papers and other project products.
- Coordinate stakeholders and proactively monitor risks, issues and delivery deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of project and program management frameworks and delivery practices.
- Proven ability to manage governance, reporting, priorities and multiple work items.
- Strong written communication skills across briefs, papers and executive-level advice.
- Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
