Senior Cyber Security Advisor - PV Cleared | High-Impact Government Security Role

Essential Tasks:
Location: Onsite-Canberra.
Contract Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options.
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.

Essential Tasks:
- Perform certification and validation activities to support system accreditation through the collection and analysis of cyber security information
- Provide expert advice on a range of information and cyber security matters across projects and operational activities
- Assess cyber security practices, controls, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and guidelines
- Research vulnerabilities, threats, and intrusion methods and provide reporting and recommendations to improve security posture
- Demonstrated experience providing cyber security advice within complex government or secure ICT environments
- Strong capability in cyber security assessment, compliance review, and accreditation support activities
- Experience researching and identifying cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities
- Knowledge of Essential 8 maturity and broader cyber security frameworks, standards, and protocols
