TSPV - Senior Network Engineer

Step into a pivotal senior role where you’ll design, implement and support large-scale, highly secure network environments for a major federal government organisation. Based onsite in Canberra, you’ll lead consolidation of legacy networks, provide second-level support to a Top Secret environment, and help maintain mission-critical connectivity, including occasional after-hours work and interstate travel.

Location: Canberra, ACT
  • Contract Duration: 12 months, with a possible 1 x 12-month extension
  • Security Clearance Requirement: Current TSPV clearance is a must
  • Closing Date: 10:00am Friday, 12 December 2025
Essential Tasks:
  • Design, install and support a complex, secure corporate network environment.
  • Consolidate legacy networks into the current standardised baseline architecture.
  • Undertake hands-on network implementation and configuration from detailed designs.
  • Provide second-level incident response and operational support to a Top Secret network.
Key Criteria:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Juniper, Cisco and/or HP network equipment.
  • Cisco and/or Juniper certifications, with proven OSPF, BGP and MPLS experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in network configuration, testing and installations in complex environments.
  • Ability to work under broad direction at a senior level, influencing stakeholders and owning technical outcomes.
